Stephanie Bolden

Medical Director, DVM

Dr. Bolden is a proud graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2000. She has always been a veterinarian at heart, growing up in Connecticut where she would bring home stray cats and dogs, much to her mother’s dismay. This taught her an early lesson: There would always be animals in the world in need, and she wanted to be there to answer the call. In her nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Bolden has practiced both large and small animal medicine. She originally intended to practice large animal medicine, but a shrinking dairy industry, a downturn in the U.S. economy, and a growing family led Dr. Bolden to relocate from upstate New York to Houston in 2009. Her concentration has been small animal medicine and surgery since then. Dr. Bolden’s lifelong mission is to help all God’s creatures live long, healthy lives.

She enjoys a blessed home life with her supportive, hard-working husband, and two amazing sons. She is the self-described “Crazy Cat Lady” of the neighborhood and dotes upon her own three feline friends and goldfish at home. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, art history, traveling, baking goodies with family, skiing, and long drives in the country. Dr. Bolden enjoys the Houston area for the big city flare coupled with a close-knit, small-town feel. She and her family also enjoy living close to the beaches of Galveston where they enjoy water sports, shopping, and the local cuisine on weekend trips.
